Many of us struggle with keeping our children focused during worship and teaching. Why is this so? What can we do about it? After all, we want our children to learn, apply and grow spiritually!
Experts tell us that the level of attention people apply to a learning situation is influenced or limited by their perception of its value. In this workshop, you will learn about the preconditions for better learning and attention. Through understanding the wide range of in-the-moment moves that a teacher can use to capture, maintain, and recapture or refocus student attention, participants will learn to match the choice of move to what a situation warrants and the desired impact on the child.
